Science
Earth, Space, and Life Systems Unit
Students will learn that our solar system is an interconnected system with an inherent balance. Learning will focus on how the patterns and cycles within our solar system influence the Earth, how the spheres of Earth interact to sustain life, and how we might innovate to support the inherent balance of Earth systems. |
Matter and Its Interactions Unit
In this unit of study, students will learn that matter is made of particles too small to be seen by developing a model. Students will learn to develop and use models, plan and carry out investigations, and use these practices to demonstrate understanding of the core ideas. These core ideas include: matter is made of particles too small to be seen; conservation of matter; and phase, chemical, and physical changes of matter. |
